I really liked Dahlia and London, but I expected so much more from this book. It was way too long with very little happening. I was excited about the cooking show aspect, but that was lacking as well. It was a lot of telling with little showing, or else what was shown did not make sense with what we were told. For example, when
midway through the book, we are told Lizzie is one of the top competitors as well as London. Up until then, Lizzie was hardly mentioned being in the top three or winning challenges ever, and Dahlia seemed to be outperforming London. It just didn’t make sense.

Also the sex scenes were not it for me. I’ve never cringed so hard from a book before. Those descriptors were just… not it. Also: trigger warning for big toe sucking. It’s like they were so good with communication but then they start sucking on her toe with zero warning. Took me out of it immediately. Feet are gross.
This is all so disappointing because London and Dahlia had the potential to be one of my favorite book couples ever.
