You know that feeling when you are pulled into a book. That feeling you get when you read the blurb and you would do anything just to read the book. You can't explain the feeling but you just know in your gut it is an amazing feeling. Well, I felt it in Blood Type. A paranormal romance that freaking gripped me. A paranormal romance that captivated me from the first page to the last. I love paranormal romances. Blame it on Twilight, Vampire Diaries and The Originals that curbed my fascination over paranormal and all things supernatural. If it wasn't for those series, I wouldn't be reading books like Blood Type. Blood Type made my heart pump. Filled with some pulsing suspense and red hot passion, Blood Type, written by K.A. Linde, is a perfect concoction that you want to take a drink of.
K. A Linde is one of my favourite authors. The Wright Brother is one of my favourite books from her. I have read her contemporary romances and they are fabulous. But I did not know that she can write paranormal romances. I was completely sold with Blood Type. Hooked, lined and sinker. I went down in the deep end with Blood Type. Mesmerizing. Striking. Fantastic. Blood Type wrenched my soul to fiery pages with a cinching and explosive plot. The dynamic and mind bending characters. The rich undertones of the plot. Blood Type truly swept me away into a brilliant yet different world of vampires. K.A. Linde just exposed me to her world of monsters and I was severely addicted. Entrancing. Powerful. Blood Type was a riveting paranormal romance with a nail biting and spellbinding story that had me begging me for more. K. A. Linde is so creative and such a talented writer. She invoked lots of action and drama that's absolutely thrilling. K.A. Linde effortlessly wrote a paranormal romance with a palpitating vision into a new and dangerous alternate world of vampires mixed with blood and action to enthrall you. I loved every moment of it.
In Blood Type, you will meet our main characters, Reyna, a poor human who becomes a blood donor for a vampire and Beckham, a wealthy businessman matched with Reyna and you are going to love them together. Heck, I adored them. The sexual tension, you could cut it with a knife, It dripped. It swerved. It echoed. The push and pull so freaking sexy that it gave me goosebumps. Truly delectable. Reyna grew up poor and a survivor. Loyal and capable of protecting and providing for her family. She is tenacious and strong . She cared for her family and the ones close to her. A little impulsive sometimes but I admired her fire and heart. Beckham is at first an asshole. You will hate him at first. He is wealthy, a vampire and a bit scary sometimes. But her fiercely protects and has a heart that will warm you up and make you swoon.
It took a long time to write this review because the ending destroyed me. I still have not gotten over it and I am seriously need Book 2 asap. Blood Type is an amazing read. If you looking for a different vampire romance, then you need to check Blood Type.
