Whewww, this book holds some pretty sensitive topics [I don't really know if it does it well or not, just that it holds them]. Be absolutely sure to look at the content warnings for this book.
It took a turn that I did not expect, so it surprised me. The last 60 or so pages really drew me in.
When I look at this book in the context of misogyny [as well as internalized misogyny [or, maybe, more "with misogyny in mind," would be better phrasing]], I think it gave the story a little more power to make me feel.
