I read this for the PopSugar Reading Challenge 2020
Prompt 27: A book featuring one of the seven deadly sins.
Perfectly Menacing
Perhaps I read this at just the right time but I devoured it. I loved it. I needed a book to drag me out of the current reality of the moment and this book delivered. I definitely figured out some of “the who is next” bits. However the overarching tone of the book was so eerie that I was drawn to continue. I felt both the unraveling of Helen while both the sane-ness of her actions. Of course she had to do all of those things! Who wouldn’t?!
Five stars and I highly recommend to all my friends who enjoy a good ghost story.
