The Death Sculptor by Chris Carter

dark mysterious tense fast-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? Plot
  • Diverse cast of characters? Yes

4.0

Another solid crime thriller from Chris Carter which kept me on the edge of the seat till the end. I really loved the ending but sadly the investigation part was not my favorite. Hoping to read and love more the successive installments in this series.

Somethings that bothered me a little was the description of women in this series because every woman here is supermodel gorgeous and everyone of them tries to seduce Hunter even those who just met him one which is quite unrealistic in my opinion. We don't get to see the personalities these women have just how physically attractive they are which makes it harder to differentiate between them while listening to the audiobook. To be quite honest I don't especially like the characterization done in this series because there is no character development here and we don't get to see their personal lives or relationships or hobbies etc. I'm solely reading these books because of the awesome plots because each one is quite unique.
