-1 star for having hundreds of pages but barely resolving any plots. Barely anything interesting happened until the last few chapters.
-1 star bc I have to go to church to repent for the severity of explicit content my eyeballs just endured.
I think another book rule should be that all books in a series have to be at or below the smut level of the first book. I felt bamboozled with this one.
Also this just felt like F & R’s story but smuttier? Like depressed woman and “secret” mate that helps her be strong and happy again. But to make it “different” they made N & C (and their house apparently lmao) immensely horny. They even use so much of the same dialogue and themes as the second book. Seemed unoriginal to me. Disappointed.
