This is a prequel to They Both Die at the End which was written previous to this one. Death-cast is a new organization that calls people who will die in the next 24 hours to tell them to make their End Day the best it can be. Orion is a teen with a heart condition and Valentino has dreams of meeting a model in New York City. They are strangers who meet in Times Square on the night Death-cast is launched. One of them receives the call. Which one will die and how will they spend the End Day together.
