The Good Daughters by Joyce Maynard

4.0

Ruth and Dana are two girls born the same day. their families manage to keep in touch but in a forced kind of way. Ruth is raised on a farm who helps her father but wants to pursue art. Dana is born to gypsy like parents who moves from state to state.
the story bounces back and forth between the two girls as they grow up.
about midway I had an idea of where the story was going so to me it was predictable, but not completely.
I was debating about giving it 3 or 4 stars. I decided to round up.
