Oh gosh. All the feels. This one is tough because even with a happy ending you know that there are hard years ahead for this couple and their family. But what a beautiful and heartbreaking love story.

I have already read about 20 pages of Knight’s book (their oldest son) so I have some idea of what’s going on down the road but decided to read these books before continuing. But still I’m dreading what might happen for Rosie and Dean in the later years. They’re so beautiful and sweet together but I’m sad for how their life will be. Still, it’s such a precious thing that Dean still loves her and still wants a life with her even knowing how hard things will get, even if the years might be cut too short. :(

Their relationship was definitely a roller coaster with lots of baggage to deal with on both sides but it was so worth it in the end. I gotta say I was pretty mad at Dean for what happened with Rosie near the end. It was an accident, but so irresponsible and inconsiderate. He earned his forgiveness but still left a bad taste in my mouth about the whole thing.

This author is excellent at strong character building and relationship building. She has yet to write a character I haven’t loved when all is said and done.

Overall another great story from this author. She’s proving to consistently write great dark, broody, angsty, and undoubtedly passionate love stories.

And man do I LOVE the HotHoles. They’re such a great group of guys who might outwardly seem like assholes, but inwardly they have so much heart, soul, and loyalty to each other and their families. Love them so much!

A little hesitantly forward to Trent’s book. Not sure I love the major age gap, but ultimately I’m sure it’ll be great and then I can finally read Knight’s book. :)
