Del amor y otros demonios by Gabriel García Márquez

4.0

[author:Gabriel García Márquez|13450] writes like a man possessed. This book, although similar in many ways to [book:Love in the Time of Cholera|9712], is, in my opinion, a much sharper and unrelenting portrayal of all-consuming affection. While there is a certain sense of victory at the end of LITTOC, [book:Of Love and Other Demons|23876] is unsparing in doling out the fate of its central characters. Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.
