• Strong character development? Yes
• Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

This book is brilliant. Needed more Lift (she's awesome), even though Kaladin aimed high and Shallan found a way to the top (the Shallan-Kaladin-Wit exchanges convinced me I needed to include at least one or two silly puns in this review).

At times the book is hilarious, at other times it's heart-breaking, but it's epic all the way.
