The Family Business by Mike Kupari

Did not finish book. Stopped at 51%.
Couldn't finish this one, so no rating.

It wasn't horrible, but for me, I just found the writing was ticking boxes. The reader must know this...tick. The reader needs to know this now...tick. Somebody better mention this fact now...tick.

The dialogue is always fully on the nose, with everyone delivering precisely the information needed. The only flavouring is to have those in charge be typical, self-important types, while those on the ground are cautious but helpful.

I love the action books, but this one just wasn't doing it for me.
