Swamp Thing, Vol. 1: Saga of the Swamp Thing by Alan Moore

5.0

Certainly see the appeal of Swampy now. Feel like I should have started with "Issue 1" because I feel like I missed a few things, but even so, Moore's writing was so compelling that it kept the story moving and filled in my gaps organically.

Also just esoteric enough without leaning too preachy, yawn fest, poorly aged, and/or making me feel like an uneducated fool? I'm all in for Moore's inner monologues/omniscient host narrator, for this one as well. Sometimes a hit or miss for me but this one worked well with me!
