Two Lethal Lies
by Annie Solomon
Single dad Mitch Turner is trying the best he can to care for his daughter, Julia. It isn’t easy. Mitch is currently unemployed. He and Julia travel from place to place. While driving Mitch stops a young girl standing on the outer edge of a bridge. Before Mitch can stop her she dives in. Mitch jumps in after her and rescues her. Mitch takes the girl home and when the girl’s parents learn that Mitch is unemployed, they offer Mitch and Julia a job and a place to stay.
Neesy Brown works at the diner. She has had her eye on Mitch for a while, though he is too busy being involved with his daughter to appreciate Neesy’s advances towards him. When the police arrest Mitch for the kidnapping of his daughter, Neesy comes to Mitch’s aid. She believes Mitch is innocent and wants to help. Though is Mitch really innocent?
Two Lethal Lies is the newest book from author, Annie Solomon. This book was so good, it helped get me out of my huge reading stump. I read it in one sitting. If you are a suspense fan like me then you will really enjoy this book. I really connected with the characters and felt something for them, which helped drive this story and made me full invested to see what would happen next. I found Neesy to be a very likable character. She had a great personality and was smart. Smarter then people gave her credit for. The only thing lethal about this book is that you will want more!
