This book was laugh out loud funny and touching. It contained so much:
- Generational trauma
- Surviving emotional and physical abuse
- Commentary on elitism and classism
- Commentary on authoritarian parenting
- Commentary on mental heal
- Commentary on community
- And even a bit of the whimsy and super natural.
It didn’t have incredibly excessive sex scenes but there was chemistry and want and desire in abundance. This book was surprisingly lovely in many ways.
