this novel shattered my heart into pieces
it just hits on another level 
erha made me feel so many different emotions while reading and for me this is very important in books

characters are very well written and their development is incredible. the only thing i don’t like is the lack of important female characters 

also !!! chu wanning !!! my beloved !!!!!! i love him so so so so much everyone always talks about mo ran’s development which is with no doubt amazing but the way wanning changes throughout the novel deserves more attention than it gets now. he’s such a comfort character for me i think everyone should read this novel at least for him 😩
