The concept of this series I continue to find very intriguing, and the end of this book (the second in a trilogy, of course) ends with quite a cliffhanger! But what I enjoy the most is all of the questions that the book addresses through the main characters, which tend to be exactly what I myself am curious about. So many questions arise in a society built upon reincarnation, at the birth of a "newsoul" who hasn't lived before. But the most important question that this series raises is this: how much are humans willing to sacrifice in exchange for not having to fear death?
