The first two thirds of the book dragged with little plot and not much progress however,  Kamran’s trauma was written so beautifully in it. I don’t really understand why people find him annoying in the book as I believe his crashout to be so valid considering the events of the last book.

Hazan on the other hand really shined in this book I looooved the banter, he’s became a personal favorite. Also loved the fun family aspect.

Alizeh on the other hand was frustrating as her romantic shifts felt extremely rushed tbh she moved from man to man too fast. The forbidden romance trope on both her sides became very tiring as she can't be with either man due to her stance, yet both are written so heartbreakingly well it’s impossible to choose.

Cyrus’s yearning in the final chapters was painfully good—I really wanted to hate him as I was so attached to kamran but THE WRITING. I was devastated.
Taheran Mafi writes broken men like no other.

Overall I really liked the emotional aspect of the book but the pacing and lack of events made it a bit boring for me personally.
