Honestly I was hoping this would be better. It was just a bit too boring for me almost, it literally took them the whole book to get back to the city and for Kai to “complete his mission.” But the steps to get there were entertaining just a bit repetitive at times, but the romance and I like how they both have a real reason to hate each but still can’t help loving one another. I love the way the lines blur from being enemies and fighting each other one minute to confessing their love the next. Now with the actual plot moved pretty slow in my opinion, Kitt is honestly scaring me a bit, like that big plot twist at the end? What is this man’s plan, he just needs to think for himself but I do feel bad since he’s just stuck in his grief. Anyways I’m really interested for the next book to see how this will finish.
