Cassandra Clare always manages to toe this beautiful line where I don't know if the scream welling up inside my chest is from excitement or dread. These characters stress me out so much but I love them with all my heart. I genuinely think the Shadowhunter world is one of my favorite universes. I've been rereading a lot of my old favorites and so far this universe has been the only one that hasn't held any new disappointments
