I picked this one up because of TikTok. This was one of those books that I knew absolutely nothing about before I started. All I knew was that I was going to cry. And cry and cry.
In reality, I teared up, I get why people would cry, but it just wasn't quite it for me. The writing style wasn't my favourite and it felt way too predictable for me (not that I wanted some big crazy twist or anything, it just feels like I've read this story a hundred times before).
Isn't the first time TikTok has built a book up too much for me so that reading it is actually a bit of a letdown, and I know it won't be the last time.
