This is really best when combined with the website. There is a lot of very useful information, but already being a vegan, I knew most of it. Plus, the website had menu plans, which this did not. For those who are interested, and still eating a diet including animal products, I would recommend getting the book. Personally, I used the website more. This is definitely a good book to have on the shelf, but I'd be happier if I'd waited for the softcover version.
