I Married A Birdman by Regine Abel

2.0

While there was nothing "wrong" with this book it was my least favorite in the series.

It was easy to binge because again, Regine does world building so well - you were immediately dropped into rooting for Luana, who's an interim leader for a colony of humans who came to the planet generations ago to escape technology taking over their lives. She needs to seek out the help of an avian-like race of aliens for protection for her colony against Yuru... giant orc-ish beings.

Maybe I didn't connect with the couple as much, or their story... It was fine, just not a book I'm particularly passionate about.
