I was skeptical given Grisham’s association with trade fiction but I actually did really enjoy this book. Sooley is a very likeable protagonist with a captivating story, but his character arc was kind of disappointing and didn’t really track well in my opinion. Still a solid read, but wish the ending was handled differently.
