In a Cottage in a Wood by Cass Green

“I’m sorry. Please forgive me. And keep it, if you can bear to.”

This was a strange but interesting book - it's compelling and hard to put down. Neve is a great, unreliable, odd main character. The chance meeting on the bridge was shocking and so odd and the resulting meeting and move were easy to read and devour. As she unravels and tries to understand Isabelle, the story easily pulled me along.

Even though I knew the twist before it arrived, I still loved the story and the ending.
