Frankenstein by Mary Shelley

A few thoughts:

- Listened to this via audible. Dan Steven’s does a soothing/beautiful job on this gritty and grief-driven plot.

- This is one of the most heartless father/son relationship plots I remember consuming in a long time. (And it maybe weighs differently on me now that I’m a parent. Like I could have been more Team Frankenstein in my younger years. )

- I feel like this story has the RIPE potential for somebody like a Madeline Miller. Can I see that POV in my lifetime? Is there some nerdy wishlist for this request?
