this book felt 50 years long. i was expecting so much from this book because everyone talks about how amazing it is and how it’s the best book from the series and let me just say i'm so disappointed. maybe my expectations were too high but there was nothing really special about it.
it was a toxic relationship that has no communication skills until the very end, they’ll fuck three times before they even talk about their problems, if they even talk about it. which they rarely ever do until they can’t hold it in and then blow up on the other person with anger. honestly this book is not as good as people make it seem, like yes jeremy did cute things for cecily but if i do say so myself creighton was such a better boyfriend.
also jeremy was kinda hypocrite. also cecily was so annoying half the time. jeremy was a good guy when he wanted to be and those scenes were cute. other times he was insufferable but cecily was just as insufferable, if not more.
they had their cute moments but this book was dragged on for so long with so much going on but also nothing. it was alright, it didn’t hit as good, maybe bc i read it right after god of pain and i absolutely loved gop so this didn’t have a chance tbh. but still i expected more. i think my expectations were too high.
