Quarantine read!
I've been dying to get read this for a long time since I heard about canon asexual characters and it did not disappoint. This book is impact writing at its finest. The short chapter style and prose made me think and engage while still remaining within the narrative. Im in my master's program right now so the relatability of the MC's doubts and dreams still hit despite my age. If I had read this right out of high-school, it would have broken me on a fundamental level. I dont think I can adequately put into words how much I loved it. Some of the references to memes and content circa 2014 Tumblr did pull me out of the story just a bit but I think they were near-essential for the book, so I'll allow it this time. I look forward to picking up more from this author (I have read Heartstopper as well).
