The Little Morsel by Alora Carter, Rachel Rener

5.0

What happens when a little girl shows up on the doorstep of a crotchety old dragon? They make applesauce. Obviously.

This story had heart, and it had depth. And it was so so so much fun. I love reading stories that catch me by surprise and there were so many surprises! Also, I learned so many things I never thought I need to know, such as the dragon equivalent of Meals on Wheels and what happens at a dragon senior center. It's not so different than what happens at human senior centers, other than the differences, of course.

I edited this book for an IFA anthology [b:From the Ashes: Legends Never Die|59123601|From the Ashes Legends Never Die|Rachel Rener|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1634093418l/59123601._SY75_.jpg|93379188], which is also worth reading, and I recommend this story to absolutely everyone!
