The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood

Did not finish book.
DNF'd not because I did not like the book, but because I think I would enjoy it better if I watch the series. I have already picked up this book a few years ago when the adaptation was announced. I knew it would be great. But I did not finish it and end up unhauling my copy. In this reread, the same results happen. Maybe I could try again in the next ten years.

Offred as a character, felt real but she did not intrigue me as much. The world that they live in is truly horrible and the message of this book about women is very on point. However, maybe it was the writing that has put me off. I have read the summary online and find the ambigous ending as a good way of closing the story.
