Fall From Grace by Richard North Patterson

3.0

Adam Blaine returns to his family home after a long absence when his father mysteriously dies after falling or being pushed off a cliff. Lots of family secrets begin to be revealed when police investigate his death and the will leaves nothing to Adam's mother. Adam had a complicated relationship with his father, who was aggressive, condescending, and didn't give his gay brother the time of day. It is eventually revealed that Adam's uncle (and Adam's biological father) killed his father, and that Adam had stayed estranged from his father after he caught him in bed with his girlfriend. Complicated family, intriguing but not many particularly likeable characters.
