The story is broken down into 4 parts: freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior year. Eden, is a 14 year old high school student. She struggled with dealing with letting her “secret” be known. Her brother’s best friend knew of the chaos that was caused. Her brother had absolutely no idea. In the mist of “keeping things under wraps,” she lost herself. Lying and trauma bonding seemed to have become her new norm. Relationships she had built were also lost. In particularly, the one with Josh. Even through the trials and tribulations, he stuck around. Eventually though, she “freed” herself with the help of others.
