Like the Great Believers, there are ghosts here, but they linger in new ways. This is slower paced novel that weaves in and out of time and asks more questions than it answers, even if it leaves us with more resolution than I anticipated.
Graphic: Death, Sexual harassment, Murder, Injury/Injury detail, Forced institutionalization, Bullying, and Adult/minor relationship
Moderate: Death of parent, Eating disorder, Alcohol, and Blood
