The Madman's Daughter by Megan Shepherd
2.0
The love triangle seriously ruined it for me. Every five seconds, one of the underdeveloped (or in Montgomery's case annoying as hell) love interests had to be mentioned. *sigh*
It's twisted and creepy at times, but this is exactly the case where the romance overload ruins the whole atmosphere of the book because it's just too much focused on it. It had potential, and could've been much much better than it was! I couldn't connect to any of the characters, also Julie's father could've been way more complex then he ended up being.
Meh.
