This book was poignant and emotional but also very boring to me. I wanted to DNF it many times but stuck with it to the end.  The last 100 or so pages is just about grief and I don’t like that. It’s rehashing over and over the grief that could be explained in great detail in 10-20 pages.  Overall I felt like it was a short story dragged out into a novel.
