This was an enjoyable, fast-paced read about Allie, a photographer and young mom who is struggling with a move to a "forever home" in a highly competitive DC neighbourhood.   She's struggling to keep track of the volunteer signups she commits to and how she is supposed to behave, as well as being power of attorney for her elderly mom suffering from dementia.

A Dad comes on strong to her at a local party, and the next day is found dead, leaving a trail of Tinder messages, sexy Facebook posts and more.  Allie adamant she didn't post any of it...  She then discovers her mom's house has been remortgaged and the money is missing... what's going on, who is trying to destroy her life?

At times a disturbing read with gaslighting, gossip, competitive moms and so much  more, this kept the pages turning though I did guess the ending.

A great first novel for sure
