Yeah idk this book wasn’t it for me. Making my way through the Oseman backlog and starting here and I guess I liked that it gave some more context and info on characters so I’m not mad I read it but 1) I know Tori is a depressed teenager but I didn’t love her narration / pov, 2) I didn’t really see that much character growth for how much growing they had to do, 3) it all just escalated….really quickly like the last 30 pages I was just like what, and 4) idk is Tori going to get the help and support and resources she needs? It ends a bit “hopeful” but I don’t really think I felt that and was more so just like worried and that it seems like this is a recipe for a v codependent and bad relationship between Michael and Tori. Impressive that Alice wrote it when they were 17 and everything I’ve read later from them I’ve liked much more but yeah not my fave and I def have a few issues w it.
