Oh, what a tangled web Ms Blakely wove.. and with that said, she DEFINITELY saved the best for last! Not only do we get the "off the charts steam factor" that we all love, but we finally get ANSWERS! And holy crap, some of those answers absolutely STUNNED me. Who was REALLY behind his father's murder? Why was he killed? I can guarantee that it's not for what you're thinking. It's no secret that I'm a fan of Lauren Blakely's books, but this one takes the cake.
If you've read this series, you would know Michael Sloan as the reserved older brother. The one who made sure his siblings were taken care of after finding his father dead eighteen years ago. The one who never seemed to let anyone get too close. But all that changes during this book. We FINALLY get a peek at what's under the surface, and it's more than I ever believed possible.
Definitely one of my top 5 books of 2016.
