The Christmas Bookshop by Jenny Colgan
5.0

While this book got off to a bit of a slow start, it was an absorbing and thoroughly sweet family dramedy, in which two sisters learn to see things from the other's point of view. I loved the holiday setting, which was an important component of the story without feeling saccharine or over the top. The secondary characters were quirky and delightful, and the romance was sweet but not all-consuming. An excellent holiday treat of a read.
