Ok, so this is what I've been waiting for the entire series. Seriously. And I loved it while I was reading it, but now I can't help but think it was a bit anticlimactic. I enjoyed the story, how Dani was learning to be on her own, but when Ryodan finally comes back it was frustration after frustration. I like that they are so different from Mac and Barrons, but as incredible as it sound it seemed to me that Ryodani had more miscommunication than them. All of a sudden we're learning of all this feelings, and things that characters did and felt for the others, and even though I knew they were endgame, I didn't want to be surprised by it. I know this has been developing for a long time, but it feels as if both Dani and Ryodan completely changed their character form one day to the next. Also, this book didn't feel as important for the story as it should have been. The introductions of the gods is really important but at the end, because of Dani's plot, we missed the best part of the battle and now I don't understand what the state of the world, and the war, is. Luckily I'm jumping straight into the next one.
