Well obviously the back half was an improvement from the front. More big plot points took place, and the character development locked in.
It did feel a bit like the author didn’t want this to end. Big things happened and I looked and there were 8 hours left! Then 5 hours! And then I thought, okay surely all of this resolution must mean it’s over, but no, there was another 2.5 hours. lol I do really like these characters, but it just made for a really odd structure and an overly drawn out story.
I’ll probably read the other books at some point, but the writing isn’t stellar and I’m feeling rather burnt out. It was entertaining overall though… even though these teens stressed me out as bad as those Euphoria youths.
