Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller

5.0

Miller's Death of a Salesman deserved a re-read. Miller portrays the plight of the modern man in a vivid manner: the power hunger, the desire to make a name for oneself, the disillusionment (what family wants vs. what you think they want), and the blending of reality and hyper-reality. Willy Loman is a very relatable character, which is what makes this play so great. Tragically flawed, but very real and believable.
