This was a lovely story, with a heartwarming journey of love and a surprise monster romance. 🩷 I think I actually liked it a bit more than book 1 since the darkness in this book came mostly from Devon's past, which made it more of a hurt/comfort than the last. I always love a "monster learns what it means to love" story, and this one sort of reminded me of Lily Mayne's work, which is one of my favorite authors, so high praise!
