For the first Star Wars book that I've read... I wasn't all that impressed. Granted probably not the best choice to start with but it was available.
I was expecting more, I guess. There was no real mention of the Resistance or Vader or the Death Star or any of that really. Stormtroopers are mentioned, but they aren't a big part of the story like most of the others. I don't know. Maybe it's just me. But this felt more like a love story than anything else.
