The Good:
- The primal play was great and all of the spicy scenes really were good
- The second chance story was sweet
- I liked the mystery
- I like that the characters feel fully flushed out since they have such elaborate and full pasts

The Bad:
- I didn't like how everyone had such a tortured past
- I think the book is sex positive, and we were following these people on their kink journey, but they have a lot of hangups. Maybe this makes them more human but I got tired of them and wanted a more fun couple to be playing with their kinks instead of torturing themselves by liking something they think is 'wrong'

The Ugly:
- I really wanted Ash to not be such an incel. It would have made him more of a believable opponent and the stakes were never that high when it came to the kiddo.
- The stupid nicknames kill me, ie:

“It’s Ash,” he spits. “Ash, because there’s no rising from the flames for me, Phoenix. I’m still fucking dead inside.”

this just takes me sooooo out of the book
