This book was challenging: for me, the violent content, multiple POVs, multiple names and nicknames for the same person, multiple storylines, and multiple timelines were tricky. I really would have loved some character tree map or something. 

Howeverrrr, the feelings and themes this book stirs up deserves nothing less than 5 stars. I just finished it and gave a tangle of anxiety in my chest. I’ll be thinking about this book for a long time.
