Such a wonderfully written book for children, showcasing a variety of animals that are hidden behind 'flaps', all of whom are shipped to the local zoo however, are rejected and sent back for various reasons. My son and I loved reading this book together, especially when it came to flipping over the flaps, which my son did with joy. The pictures are excellent, as they are large and colourful, keeping those of all ages intrigued. I found that the wording was great for a toddler, as the words were simple enough for my son to understand and repeat as we read along. A great book for anyone interested in learning more about animals, while having fun flipping the flaps to see which animal was rejected and sent back!
