Review:

Least favorite of his books so far. But loved the characters as always.

Review previously placed on my blog:

I'm currently reading My grandmother asked me to tell you she's sorry by Fredrik Backman. Reading a Dutch copy from the library. Reading this for my Authors TBR and a buddy read.

I have read part of this book before for a different buddy read. But that buddy read didn't go very well (super slow, so I couldn't really enjoy the book), so I stopped reading it. So am now just rereading the part I have already read, but don't really mind. I really enjoy the story and especially the main character. The writing is also great, but that is to be expected at this point.

This is my least favorite Backman so far (and have almost read everything from him). There was too much repetition, too much irritating stuff about certain characters and a bit of emotional manipulation. Did still think the story was good and loved a couple of characters a lot. Just overall not his best.
