Peaches and Honey is about a girl who gets given an immortality granting peach, and we follow her life and lessons she has learnt. The book spans centuries, starting from the beginning of her life when she was cast out, and each chapter is a new time and place. We go through love, betrayal, heartbreak, joy, the simplicity of life and what it means to live in a beautiful story. It feels reminiscent of The Invisible Life of Addie Larue, with both the story and the love interest (i say that it takes them a long time), they learn each other and grow to love and care for the other. Anna is a nurse/midwife and we can see why she was saved, and the true courage it takes for her to be such a caring and loving woman. The writing is flowy, and i enjoyed reading everything about this story!
