I first read this book when i was a teen. Maybe 17 or 18. And in the years since, my reflections on this book were always good. BUT as an adult??I was horrified. OMG.
The stort of Teenager Tracy growing up in Philly during the 80s and early 90s had me throwing the book across the room several times at the sheer stupidity of everyone in this book. It had me clutching my pearls as a mother and as a grown ass woman. And it had me shaking my head at my own foolish choices .
This is like a time capsule. And i want to rebury it cause lawd.
